Pull heads / RFO heads

Pull heads are designed for second-end installation of risers and flexible lines. They bolt to the end fitting via a flange connection and carry the hang-off load of the suspended flexible line during installation. They are available with either a clevis head or a padeye to suit the lifting arrangement.

The design can be tailored to the end-fitting interface, required load capacity and installation method. Particular attention is given to providing a robust load path and practical access for connection and disconnection of lifting equipment.

Pull heads can also incorporate Ready for Operation (RFO) functionality. These combined pull and RFO heads can be configured with a ROV operated valve arrangements and interfaces for dewatering and/or flushing wet-stored flexible lines.
