Engineering/EPC
Key Points
Areas of supply
Concept design, FEED, detailed engineering, EPC support, and fabrication follow-up
- Thorough documentation of
performance and structural integrity - Complete set of documents
design basis, design report, test procedures and reports (FAT/SIT), outline installation procedures etc. - Full manufacturing record book (MRB), with all required certificates and full traceability regarding material, welds etc.
Documentation
Fully documented engineering, including design basis, detailed design reports. Documentation can also include FAT and SIT procedures and reports, outline installation procedure, Operation and Installation Manual (OIM)
Our capabilities include concept design, detailed engineering, and EPC support, as well as FEED studies and fabrication follow-up. We have extensive experience supporting projects from initial feasibility assessments through to installation and offshore supervision.
We utilize Autodesk Inventor as our primary 3D design tool, enabling efficient modelling, drawing production, and design development. Structural and mechanical verification is performed using the finite element program ANSYS, supplemented by other specialized calculation tools as required. All engineering work is supported by thorough documentation, including detailed design reports.
Designs are developed in accordance with applicable industry standards, codes, and rules, and are based on sound general engineering principles.
We emphasize:
- Easy and safe operation
- High structural integrity
- Fabrication-friendly design solutions
- Robustness for subsea environments
Fabrication
We can assume full fabrication responsibility and deliver the completed structure Ex Works (EXW) or alongside quayside, ready for transport or offshore installation.
Alternatively, we can provide fabrication follow-up services, ensuring that manufacturing is carried out in accordance with design documentation, quality requirements, and project specifications.
For each project, we select the fabrication site best suited to the scope and complexity of the work. This may range from a specialized machining workshop for precision components to a large-scale welding facility for heavy structural assemblies.
Our long experience and in-depth knowledge of subsea equipment and structural design ensure high quality throughout the fabrication process. We maintain close coordination between engineering and production to secure compliance, structural integrity, and efficient execution.
